Who we are

When you send an enquiry
Our contact form asks for your name, your email address and a description of your project, and optionally your phone number, the service you need and an indicative budget. Our consultation form asks for your name and a mobile number, and optionally your email address, the service you need and a note. We also record which page of the site you sent it from and, if you arrived from one of our adverts, the campaign that brought you.
Your enquiry is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, and a copy is emailed to the studio inbox, hosted by Google. We use it to reply to you about your project and for our own business records. We do not sell it.
What this website measures
Google Analytics counts visits and which pages are read, using cookies. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it runs without cookies unless you agree to them.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API tell Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, which pages are visited and when an enquiry is sent, so we can see which of our adverts work and show them to people likely to be interested. When you send an enquiry, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, phone number and name is sent to Meta so it can match the enquiry to an advert. Your message and your budget are never sent. None of this runs on devices set to a European time zone, and our server checks the visitor’s country again before it sends anything.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count visits and measure how fast pages load. They use no cookies and do not identify you.
Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see where the site is hard to use. Microsoft shows this to us as heatmaps and replays of visits. What you type into our forms is masked in your browser and is never recorded. Clarity uses first- and third-party cookies, and Microsoft may also use the data it collects for its own purposes, including advertising. Like the Meta Pixel, it does not run on devices set to a European time zone.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on, and control how Meta uses information for advertising in your Meta ad preferences. Microsoft explains how Clarity handles data in the Microsoft privacy statement.
Your details, your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them, by emailing info@hstarchitects.com. We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your project and to keep proper business records.
Changes
If what this website does with your details changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
